When I have no-one to turn to,
And I am feeling kind of low,
When there is no-one to talk to,
And nowhere that I want to go,
I search deep within myself,
It is the love inside my heart,
That lets me know my angels are there,
Even though we are miles apart.
A smile then appears on my face,
And the sun begins to shine,
I hear a voice, so soft and sweet,
Saying everything will be just fine,
It may seem that I am alone,
But I am never by myself at all,
Whenever I need my angels near,
All I have to do is call.
An angels love is always true,
On that you can depend,
They will always stand behind you,
And will always be your friend,
Through darkest hours and brightest days,
Our angels see us through,
You are one of my angels,
Perhaps I am one for you.
I had a blank canvas, it was black and bare,
Absolutely empty, there was nothing there!
With paintbrush in my hand, and hopeful heart,
I began to paint my canvas, to make a new start.
Each person I met, became a precious little flower,
Each heart that touched me gave my painting more power,
Each precious little flower, totally unique in every way,
Shining in the darkness, bright sparkling little rays.
As my creation grew, I started painting starry skies
A star for all those who helped me with my questions, my whys?
The night sky shone down on pretty flowers of every colour and hue,
Yes in my special little painting, I even painted you!
So now my painting had flourished into a spectactular sight,
My canvas all filled with memories all sparkling and bright,
The bare empty darkness was now bursting with life anew,
Now my life is full of bright happy thoughts, all because of you.
Our physical world has lost a man,
Oh so gentle, kind and sweet,
Your laughter could brighten a room,
And place smiles on those you meet.
Our family will never be the same,
Without your presence here,
But our love and memories of you,
Will always keep you near.
You spent your life caring for,
So many of those you loved,
Now we hope you continue this path,
Watching over us from above.
For your joyful spirit lives on,
As does your soul and grace,
We now count our blessings,
For the time we could embrace.
And now you meet again,
With others that love you so,
It is with such great sadness,
That we have to let you go.
May your new journey be filled,
With wonderous love and light,
Please know that we'll always miss you,
As we continue in our plight.
So until the time we meet again,
We hold our memories dear,
And will continue to talk to you,
And know you'll always hear.
