It's a hug sent from Heaven, from a loved one way up high.
If a soft and tender raindrop lands upon your nose,
It's just a little angel's kiss, as fragile as a rose.
When you hear a song that fills you with a feeling of sweet love,
It's a hug sent down from Heaven, from someone special up above.
If you wake up in the morning, to a bluebird's chirping song,
It's music sent from Heaven, to cheer you all day long.
If tiny little snowflakes, land upon your face,
It's a whisper sent from Heaven, all trimmed with angel lace.
So let your heart be joyful, if you're lonely dear friend,
Hugs that are sent from Heaven, a broken heart will mend.
To my dearest family, some things i'd like to say,
But first of all, to let you know that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven, here I dwell with God above,
Here, there are no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy, just because i'm out of sight,
Remember that I am with you every morning, noon and night.
The day I had to leave you, when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you.
It's good to have you back again, and you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight,
God and I are closest to you.. In the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth and all those loving years,
Because you are only human, they're bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry, it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you, all that God has planned.
If I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is through,
I'm closer to you now than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you, and many hills to climb;
But together we can do it, taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy, and i'd like it for you too,
That as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody, who's in sorrow and pain;
Then you can say to God at night: "My day was not in vain"
And now I am contented... that my life was worthwhile,
Knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
Just lend a hand to pick them up as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street and you've got me on your mind,
I'm walking in your footsteps, only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go... from that body to be free.
Remember that you're not going, you're coming here to me.
Release ...
There's been too much that's gone on,
And when all is said and done,
You can look back on life,
And say.....
What more a mother and wife,
So to look to the sky is where I am now,
See the cast over clouds,
Know that's where I picture my life.
Want to feel free as a bird,
Want to fly, let my song get heard,
Watch the forests below,
Feel the icy winds blow.
Settle in freedom, spirit and light,
No need to feel trapped, use my wings to take flight,
Now I'm slipping, no fear left,
Only peace and a warmth in my chest.
I'm aware of the others, as they all crowd around,
Try to smile for them, no longer sounds loud,
As I scurry into my peaceful retreat,
Start to realise the humour of feet.
I watch the pain on their faces as I start to go,
And think to myself, please do not cry, I want you to know,
Where I am going, I now feel no pain,
I only wish you could feel the same.
Yes you may miss me, yes you may cry,
But please do not fret, for this is not goodbye,
I will come back, I will let you know,
That you are still loved, and this I will show.
The minute you feel me, there will be no doubt,
When I make myself known, I will give you a shout,
And please do not think I will not hear you,
Because love is a quality that speaks clearly and true.
But now I am slipping into my peace,
I'm sorry to leave now, but I need my release,
Let your tears flow, and heal your hearts,
But enjoy your lives full of happy new starts.

What my new life's about...
